There are three ways to join the Moi program:
- a) If you are a metro&moi member, you have nothing to do: your enrollment is automatic,
- b) Online at moiprogram.ca or via the app of your favourite participating banner (food or pharmacy),
- c) In-store where you will be asked to provide a phone number or email address. A card will then be given to you, and all you will have to do is complete your enrollment on moiprogram.ca or via the app and link your card to your account using the instructions you will receive by text message or email.
With the Moi program, reward checks are replaced by instant redeems at checkout. Once you’ve earned a minimum of 500 points ($4), you can redeem them at any participating store to reduce your shopping bill. The terms of the program are as follows:
- $1 spent on the invoice (before taxes) = 1 point* earned.
- 125 points = $1 in cash rewards;
- Online enrollment must be completed to take advantage of program benefits, including instant redemption of points,
- It is not mandatory to redeem all your points to pay for a purchase,
- Points never expire and are redeemable at any time, and
- The digital card on the app is accessible at all times and can be used in all participating stores.
*Upon presentation of the moi card, the allocation of points is calculated on the total amount, before taxes, and excludes the products ineligible products listed in the terms and conditions of the program.
To join the Moi program, you must be an individual, be 16 years of age or older, and reside in Canada.
Access your Moi account and edit your personal information. These changes will apply to all accounts you hold in participating banners.
You can view your points balance in real time by logging into your account:
- At moiprogram.ca,
- On the web platforms of the participating banners,
- On the mobile applications of the participating banners,
as well as on transaction receipts (paper and digital) and at the store checkout.
No. Your moiID account is linked to the secure login page that you are redirected to when you login to your customer account from a participating banner (Metro, Super C, Jean Coutu, Brunet, Première Moisson).
As of May 9, 2023, you will no longer be able to use your reward checks. Your unused checks will be automatically converted into points which will be credited to your Moi account and that you will be able to redeem for instant rewards at checkout.
No. The customer account that you create under a banner allows you to define your consumer profile using personal information and preferences (mailing address, language, newsletter subscription, favourite grocery store, etc.).
You can earn points and redeem them in all participating stores in Quebec, namely the Metro banners (except the Metro Coop Fermont grocery store), Super C, Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson.
In Ontario and New Brunswick, the Moi program is offered in Jean Coutu pharmacies.
As soon as you join online (or pre-join in-store), you start earning points on your purchases*.
When you reach a minimum of 500 points ($4), you can redeem them at any participating store to reduce your shopping bill.

You can earn bonus points in four different ways:
1) On specific products specially identified in store,
2) On specific quantities of products specially identified in store,
3) On special offers presented on coupons (e.g., "20 bonus points with any total purchase of $75 or more"),
4) On special multiplier offers presented on coupons (e.g., “Double your points with any total purchase of $75 or more”).
Only the online ordering services at Metro and Super C allow you to earn and redeem points. Currently, Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson stores do not offer this option.
Virtually all items offered in-store and online allow you to earn points*. However, the following items are excluded: tobacco products, lottery tickets, transit passes, gift cards, gift certificates, prepaid phone cards, stamps, postal services, dry-cleaning, movie and game rentals, bottle and can deposits, SAQ wine and spirits agency products, delivery charges and donations.
(*) Some restrictions may apply depending on the terms of the program.
If the store allows it, you can request a deferred purchase coupon (rain check). On your next visit, you will be able to purchase the product and obtain the bonus points to which you were entitled by presenting the deferred coupon at checkout.
