Sear both sides of the pork shoulder.Place the pork shoulder, garlic, and onion in a large baking dish.Pour the orange juice, soy sauce, and brown sugar in the dish.Cover the dish and cook in the oven for 4 hours.Flip the meat halfway through cooking.Remove the meat from the broth. Filter the broth. In a pan on high, reduce the broth until it thickens.Shred the pork.
