Preheat oven to 350°F.In a large bowl, blend egg, maple syrup, sour cream & melted butter.Slowly add flour, mixing consistently. Fold in the baking soda, ginger and salt. Beat into a batter until well blended.Pour the mixture into a greased and lightly floured baking pan (6” x 10” x 1 ½”).Baking for 35 minutes.
