Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).Fill pie shell with ham and vegetables.In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk together. Stir in syrup and nutmeg.Pour mixture over ham and vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese.Bake 20 minutes in the centre of the oven. Serve hot or cold.
