These ultra gooey black bean brownies are sure to become your favourite classic dessert. Best of all, you can put all the ingredients in your food processor for ultra moist results!Preheat the oven to 350 °F with the rack in the middle position.Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square brownie pan with parchment paper. Make sure there is some overhang on each side. This will make it easier to remove the brownies.Mix all the ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, in a food processor until you get a smooth texture.Use a spatula to mix in ¼ cup (60 mL) of chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the pan.Top with the almonds and the remaining chocolate chips.Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the brownies comes out clean.Let cool before removing the brownies from the pan.Slice into small squares.Store in an airtight container. Can be kept up to 4 days in the refrigerator.BLACK BEANS Black beans are inexpensive and packed with nutrients! This is a secret ingredient that adds fibre and protein to this delicious recipe.
