Date paste:Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.Add the dates, and reduce the heat so that everything simmers gently for 8 minutes.Remove from the heat, and, using a blender or a small food processor, reduce to a thick purée. Set aside.Oatmeal:In a bowl, combine the rolled oats with the apple cider, the cinnamon, yogourt and the date purée.Mix all the ingredients together and place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.After the resting time is over, divide the cold oatmeal between two bowls and add, on each of them, half of the almonds and half of the apples and blackberries.Serve immediately.

    pitted Medjool date, diced
  • oatmeal

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)
    large rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup
