A Simple Vegetarian Breakfast Raclette!

Everyone knows that a traditional raclette meal is best enjoyed with family or friends. It’s always fun to be in charge of what you put on your plate and it also makes it easier for those with allergies and intolerances. So why not try a raclette for brunch? Whether you crave sweet or savoury, the possibilities are endless and delicious!


1Savoury ideas


You can easily make eggs the star of your meal. Cook either scrambled eggs or an omelette on the raclette grill!

 

For ultra simple scrambled eggs, first prepare a mixture of eggs, milk, and seasoning. Beat and set aside on the table.

 

Arrange the dishes containing the vegetables, cheese, and mini bread cubes on the table so everyone can easily add whatever they want in their raclette pan. For a gluten-free version, simply omit the bread.


If you prefer grilled eggs, simply leave whole eggs on a dish on the table so your guests can cook them on the grill however they like. They’re delicious with small pesto croutons au gratin. You can also use find basil or dried tomato pesto

2Sweet and savoury ideas

 

Pots full of soft cheese, fruits, or nuts are delightful ways of combining sweet and savoury flavours. And they’re extremely easy to prepare!

 

On a serving platter or a large dish, place slices of cheese (cheddar, brie, camembert, goat, etc.). Add apples, grapes, cranberries, ground cherries, or any other fruit you want, and a few nuts.

Don’t forget a small bowl of honey, so you can mix everything in the pans and then grill your dish! It’s simply outstanding with some slices of fresh bread.

3Sweet ideas

 

Want to try something original? Try mini maple French toast cubes! Simply prepare a few cubes of bread, then dip in a mixture of eggs, milk, and maple syrup.

You can add some spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground ginger. Then remove the excess batter and place in a bowl on the table. Everyone will then be able to cook their own French toast on the raclette grill!
