Preheat barbecue to high.Lay 7 asparagus spears side by side, and skewer them together at the base and in the middle.Salt and pepper asparagus rafts and beef rosettes, and brush with oil.Place on the grill and cook 1 minute per side to give them grill marks.Place beef rosettes on asparagus rafts, close the cover and lower heat to minimum.Cook some 5 - 8 minutes.Serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon juice.

Preparation
