Preheat barbecue to high heat.
Put the skirt steak into a resealable plastic bag and add the shallots, wine, honey, salt and pepper into it.
Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Place all asparagus ingredients in a foil packet and top it with butter pieces and bread crumbs.
Seal and grill for approximately 10 minutes.
Grill skirt steak for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness (or 2–3 minutes if steak is thin).
Cover with foil and let it rest.
Tip:
Reserve marinade to use as steak sauce.
In a small saucepan, bring marinade to a boil and reduce for 7–8 minutes.
