Season the pork chops with pepper and dried oregano, wrap each with a slice of prosciutto.Light one side of the BBQ on high and the other on low heat.Lightly oil the chops on both sides.Grill the chops for 2 minutes on each side over high heat, then transfer to the warm side.Continue cooking for 6 minutes.Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving.

    pork chops bone-in, cut 1 1/4 inch (3 cm) thick
  • 4
    thin slices of prosciutto
  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)
    dried oregano

  • vegetable oil, to brush, to taste

  • fresh black pepper ground, to taste

Preparation

Season the pork chops with pepper and dried oregano, wrap each with a slice of prosciutto.

Light one side of the BBQ on high and the other on low heat.

Lightly oil the chops on both sides.

Grill the chops for 2 minutes on each side over high heat, then transfer to the warm side.

Continue cooking for 6 minutes.

Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
