Mix oil with garlic and chopped basil.
Trim tough portabella stems and slice 1/2 in. (1 cm) thick.
Marinate mushrooms 15 minutes. Remove.
Preheat barbecue to high.
Grill portabella 2-3 minutes over high heat.
Brush tournedos with marinade and cook over medium-high about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
