Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).In a bowl, mix the peaches, brown sugar, almond extract, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle the garnish on the peaches in four ramekins.In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add the butter using a dough knife or two knives. Work the preparation until it has the texture of course breading. Add milk and mix until it is retained, add a little milk as needed. Using a spoon, spread the pastry on the garnish of the peaches. Sprinkle slivered almonds.Place the ramekins on a cooking plate. Cook in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes or until the garnish is bubbling and the top of the puddings is golden. Serve hot or at room temperature.
