Preheat the oven to 350°f.Lightly grease a 9 by 12'' baking dish (23 cm x 30,5 cm).Place bread cubes in a baking dish & evenly scatter with walnuts. Set aside.In a large mixing bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, eggnog, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg & salt until well blended.Pour mixture over the bread and press down slightly to flatten. If baking the next morning, wrap the baking dish in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to bake.If baking immediately, bake for 50 to 60 minutes until the top is toasted and golden brown.Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with maple syrup and serve!
