Preheat oven to 325°F.Rub BBQ spices and sun-dried tomato pesto all over brisket.In a large roasting pan, add Coca-Cola, beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic, stirring to combine. Place the brisket into braising liquid and top evenly with sliced onion and apple. Cover tightly with foil and roast on centre rack for 4-1/2 to 5 hours until fork-tender. When done, remove brisket to a plate, cover, and let rest for 15 minutes.Transfer braising liquid along with onion and apple slices into a large deep skillet. Bring to a rolling boil to reduce liquid by half; about 10 minutes.In a small bowl, stir together cornstarch with 1/4 cup water. Add cornstarch into the sauce while stirring to thicken.Thinly slice brisket against the grain. Transfer to a platter and ladle generously with sauceSprinkle with parsley and serve.Source: Metro

Preparation
