Make incisions in the flap in the opposite direction of the fibers.
In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce and rice vinegar. Brush both sides of flank steak. Marinate for 15 minutes.
On a very hot barbecue (290°C or 550°F), place the flank steak on the grill and cook for 7 to 8 minutes on each side, without closing the lid.
Remove flank steak from barbecue, place on a plate and cover with a second plate upside down. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Slice meat, garnish with sesame seeds and fresh mint.
Serve with grilled vegetables.
