Cook mushrooms in a skillet until tender. Set aside.In a skillet, brown onion in butter.Add breadcrumbs and cook 2 minutes.Mix cooked mushrooms with anchovy paste. Season to taste and set aside.Mix salt, egg and cold water. Add flour gradually for firm dough. Knead and roll dough on a floured surface.Cut dough into small squares 2 1/2 inch (6 cm ).Put a spoonful of mushroom stuffing in the centre of each square.Fold dough over into a triangle. Press edges to seal them. Fold again diagonally and press edges.Slip piroshki into boiling salted water. Cook 10 minutes or until dumplings float.
