On a sheet of parchment paper, lay 1 sheet of puff pastry.the pastry (will produce three long pieces). Next, cut each of these three pieces lengthwise in half (you will now have 6 pieces). Now, to shorten these strips of pastry, cut a line across their middle (you will now have 12 pieces).Open the package of wieners. To make the spider legs you will make a series of cuts on each wiener. On one end of the wiener make a complete cut in the centre that is 1/3 the length of the wiener. Then, rotate the wiener so the first cut is parallel with your counter and make the same cut as the previous step (you have now cut the ends into quarters).Next, turn the wiener a bit again to cut the ends into 8 legs. You will be cutting the quarters in half, so at the middle of the quarter, cut down again (at this point it’s best to hold the sides with your fingers to get an even cut)Rotate again and do this on the remaining uncut quarter. Repeat these cuts on the other end of the wiener and you will now have 8 legs on each end.Place the middle of the wieners on the end of the pastry strips and then roll them up.Place the spiders seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. For added fun, use eye food picks or candy eyes to complete your spooky spiders.
