In a hot pan, add the oil and cook the onion at medium heat. Set aside.
In a bowl, mix the onions with the ginger, the garlic, the lemon juice, the red pepper flakes and the yogurt.
Pour the marinade on the turkey cubes and let marinate for 4 to 12 hours.
Preheat the BBQ to medium-high heat
Grease the BBQ grill with oil.
Assemble the skewers with the turkey cubes on wooden skewers.
Cook the turkey skewers 15 to 20 minutes while turning them once, until they reach an an intern temperature of 74 °C (165 °F).
Serve with mango chutney, basmati rice and naan bread.
Note:
Plan a dozen wooden skewers of 25 cm (10 in) that soaked in water for at least 30 minutes.
