In a shaker, combine the white rhum, the Cointreau, the grapefruit juice, the basil leaves (keeping some basil leaves for decoration) and the crushed ice.Mix well.Pour into 4 glasses and add about ¼ cup (65 ml) of tonic into each glass.Decorate with extra basil leaves and the slices of grapefruit.
