Place the flank steak in a large airtight container and set aside.Place the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper and combine.Pour half of the marinade over the meat and combine to coat. Seal the container and store in the fridge for 3 hours. Stir occasionally. Set the rest of the marinade aside in the fridge.Thread the meat onto small skewers and set aside. Preheat the BBQ on high and then reduce to medium. Oil your grill grates.Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes each side or until done to your liking. Generously baste with the fresh marinade. You can also cook the skewers in a cast iron skillet.Garnish with scallions and serve.
