Pat the block of tofu dry with paper towel. Break the tofu into pieces.
Mix the tofu with 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of taco spices in a bowl. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
In another bowl, mix the avocado with 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of taco spices.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the seasoned tofu in the oil for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
In another skillet over low-medium heat, brown the tortillas for 30 seconds on each side.
Divide tofu among tortillas and top with jalapeno peppers, tomato, lettuce, cabbage (optional) and cilantro. Serve with lime and guacamole.
