Homemade apple compote :In a pot, simmer all ingredients over medium heat until the apples have softened and there is almost no water left.Use the blender to reduce everything to a smooth puree.Let cool.Cocktail :Pour all the ingredients into a shaker, except the soda.Agitate about ten seconds with ice cubes.Double filter over a cup filled with ice cubes using a sieve.Top it with sodaGarnish with an apple slice.Source: Rose Simard
