Preheat barbecue to medium.Preheat frying pan to medium.Combine beef, egg, Feta, oregano and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.Shape mixture into 4 round patties.Cook on barbecue or frying pan until well cooked.Place patties in pita bread pockets lined with lettuce and tomatoes.Serve with Tzatziki.Tzatziki:Combine all ingredients and mix well.Add salt and pepper.Keep the refrigerator until 1 week.

  • 1

    crumbled canadian feta
  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)
    dried oregano leaves, crushed
  • 1
    clove garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2
    pita bread, halved

  • leaf lettuce and sliced tomatoes
  • tzatziki:

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)
    plain yogourt
  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)
    shredded English cucumber, squeezed dry
  • 2
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)
    sugar
