Mix marinade ingredients together in a big bowl. Set aside 1/2 cup.Score duck breasts' skin with a knife and marinate for 2 to 4 hours.Drain duck breasts and pat dry with paper towels.Brush duck breasts with oil. Grill over high heat 5-7 minutes per side.Heat reserved marinade and thicken with cornstarch.Slice thin and serve.

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)
    cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbsp. (30mL) cold water
  • Marinade

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)
    red wine
  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)
    black pepper
  • 2
    clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp.
    (3 mL)
    cinnamon
  • 4
    cloves
  • 4 Tbsp.
    (60 mL)
    olive oil

  • To taste Salt and pepper

Preparation
