Using a fork, mash the avocado flesh. Add the yoghurt, onion and garlic salt. Adjust the seasoning and keep chilled.
Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C).
In a frying pan over low heat, place a tortilla. Sprinkle some grated cheese over half the tortilla, top with some chicken and cover with more grated cheese.
When the cheese starts melting, fold over the other tortilla half and turn over in the pan.
Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes, then cover and set aside in the oven.
Repeat this procedure for the remaining tortillas.
Serve with the mashed avocado mix and, if desired, a mild or spicy Mexican salsa.
