In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook bacon for 8 minutes until crisp. Set aside.In a bowl, whisk together Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt and black pepper. Mix in ground beef. Form mixture into 4 patties. Preheat barbecue to medium. Spray a wad of paper towels with olive oil spray and use to oil grill. Place burgers on grill. With a spoon, make a depression in each burger (this helps burgers cook more evenly).Cook burgers for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until an instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into burgers registers 160° F (71° C).Just before burgers are ready, top each with a slice of cheese. Add bacon to grill to heat through. Cut buns in half and toast on grill, cut sides down, until golden brown.Spread the bottom half of each bun with barbecue sauce. Top each with lettuce. Put a burger in each bun, along with two slices of pickle, two slices of tomato and two slices of bacon. Garnish each plate with a handful of kettle chips.
