Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).Spike the ham with cloves and garlic cloves. Place it in an oven dish.Mix the beer, molasses, dry mustard and thyme in a bowl.Pour over the ham.Add the vegetables and cover.Cook in the oven for 45 minutes.Serve with asparagus and seasoned rice.
