Soak 4 wooden skewers in water.
Preheat BBQ to medium-high heat. Oil grill well.
While skewers are soaking make meatballs.
In a large bowl combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic and a good seasoning of salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Shape into 12 equal sized meatballs. Skewer 3 meatballs onto each skewer.
Place skewers onto pre-heated grill.
Grill meatballs with the BBQ lid closed for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through or until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
Brush meatballs with BBQ sauce, cook 1-2 more minutes until sauce has warmed through.
