In a pan, bring water to a boil. Add spare ribs, onion, bouquet garni, bay leaf, salt and pepper.Simmer 45 minutes. Drain and set aside.Preheat the barbecue to medium.In a pan, combine all sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer 2 minutes.Place spare ribs on a sheet of oiled aluminium foil and brush with sauce.Cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side.

    fresh pork spare ribs

  • To taste, Salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)
    sunflower oil
  • blueberry honey

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)
    chili sauce
  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)
    grated fresh ginger
  • 2
    cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)
    dried pitted dates, chopped
  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)
    white wine

  • To taste, Salt and pepper

Preparation
