Place the dried white beans in a large bowl and cover with warm water.Let them soak for 4 hours.Make sure the beans are always covered with water while soaking.If needed, add some more water.Once the soaking time done, preheat the oven at 275°F.Drain the beans and place them in a cast iron pot.Add all other ingredients, except the water and season with salt and pepper to taste.Cover with cold water one inch above the top of the beans.Cook for 5 to 6 hours.
