Preheat the barbecue to medium.Blanch the sausages in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes.Drain and cut each into 3.Thread the sausage chunks onto skewers, alternating with papaya cubes and lichees. Set aside.In a saucepan, place all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 1 to 2 minutes and keep warm.Baste the sausage brochettes with the warm sauce and grill for 6 to 10 minutes. Turn frequently, basting the brochettes while they cook.
