To pan-fry:Heat half the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chops 3 - 4 minutes per side.Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 12 minutes.Barbecue:Preheat barbecue to medium heat.Brush pork chops with oil (1Tbsp-15 mL) and set on the grill.Cook for 4-5 minutes per side.Remove chops and keep them warm.Honeyed Apples:In a skillet, heat remaining oil.Add apples, honey and parsley and cook 6 - 7 minutes.Serve apples over pork chops.

    pork chops cut 1/2 in. (2 cm) thick

  • freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 2
    Braeburn apples, peeled, cored and cut into thick slices
  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)
    chopped parsley

Preparation

To pan-fry:
