AIR MILES® Program
The AIR MILES® Rewards Program in Metro stores ended on July 21, 2024. We are replacing this program with Moi Rewards, a new and exciting loyalty program which will be coming to Metro and Food Basics later this year.
For any AIR MILES® specific questions, you can contact them through www.airmiles.ca/en/get-help and chat with one of their Customer Care Ambassadors.
Thunder Bucks Program
Metro will terminate its Thunder Bucks program later this year to join the Moi Rewards program. In the meantime, the Thunder Bucks program will continue to be offered at Metro in Thunder Bay until later this year. The exact date will be announced soon.
The date will be communicated to Metro customers through our in-store and digital media channels later this year.

No. Thunder Bucks collectors will not automatically become Moi Rewards members. To become a Moi Rewards member, you must enroll when the program launches later this year. The exact date will be announced soon.

Moi Rewards will enable greater personalization for members which will allow them to realize great savings by shopping at Metro and Food Basics stores. The program details will be shared when Moi Rewards launches later this year.

Yes, the Thunder Bucks offers will continue for customers to earn and redeem at Metro until later this year. The exact date will be announced soon.
The Thunder Bucks final rewards cheque will be sent prior to the end of the Thunder Bucks program. We will provide more details soon.
Moi Rewards
The Moi program name is founded on creating a more inclusive and personalized loyalty program that connects with our individual customers which is currently available at Metro Québec, Jean-Coutu, Super C, Brunet, and Premières Moisson – conventional and discount grocery, pharma retail, and specialty bakery.
We want to continue to build upon the Moi program's strong brand recognition, and as we further expand in the Ontario market, we have an opportunity to adapt the English version of the brand to increase its impact and build a strong connection with our customers, across our banners and the markets where we operate.
Our program is recognized as a leader in personalization and the Moi name reinforces in a simple way the fact that it’s all about delivering maximum value and relevance to each individual in a human, colourful, diverse, and dynamic way. Moi Rewards is all about rewarding myself based on my preferences and the things I purchase every week.
Moi Rewards members will be able to earn and redeem at all 275 Metro Ontario and Food Basics stores across the province including the nine Jean Coutu locations in eastern Ontario.
Moi Rewards will be the first loyalty program ever at Food Basics.
Food Basics offers the most competitive prices in the province. The addition of Moi Rewards adds another level of value when you shop at Food Basics.

Current Moi members can use their cards in our Ontario Jean Coutu locations. When we launch later this year, customers will then be able to use their Moi card in all Metro and Food Basics.
While it is the same program there will be some differences between the provinces. We will provide more details about Moi Rewards when the program launches later this year.
